Who We Are

Mersey Engineering Construction (MEC) is a small company concentrating on industrial maintenance and repair. 
 

We specialise in the following: 

• Structural alterations and repairs  
• Marine civil engineering/maintenance, (Quayside repairs, bank slips, marine piling, etc). 
• Supply and installation of bailey type panel bridges for temporary and semi-permanent applications  
• Supply and installation of foot bridges, stairways and gantries.  
• Electrical civils works such as cable trenches, cable boxes, cable entries, cable pulling and erection of lighting columns/CCTV masts. 
• Deep cleaning works 
• Electrical substation construction, maintenance and repair.  
• Installation and erection of capacitor banks and harmonic filters. 

We can offer a hot applied zinc alternative to galvanising, which we can apply in situ. 

Our core team consists of 18 personnel, supplemented by a very competent and experienced group of subcontractors.  

We have and use a group of professional advisers covering health and safety, insurance, structural engineers, quantity surveyor, business mentor, legal, training.  

We have carried out projects throughout the UK and worldwide.
